High tide leaves one dead in Mumbai's Marine Drive, One rescued

Mumbai, June 15 (ANI): Despite a high tide alert warning issued for Mumbai residents, two boys fell prey to huge tidal waves on Sunday. The torrential waves which have been hitting the Mumbai shore continuously for the third day left one dead in the Marine Drive area of the city while the other one was rescued. Talking about it, the 27-year-old "Student Of The Year" actor said: "On June 20 night, we have planned a very big thing with MTV. I am throwing a bachelor party. So I will be there and I will dance with everyone." The actor said this while promoting the film at the Radio Mirchi studio where he was present with his co-star Alia Bhatt to promote the film. "Please, everyone is invited. So on Saturday night, there is going to be a lot of dance and masti (fun)," he added. Bhutan flight makes emergency landing at Kolkata airport

Kolkata, June 15 (ANI): A Royal Bhutan Airlines flight whose windshield cracked during its journey from Paro to Mumbai was forced to make an emergency landing in Kolkata on Sunday. All the passengers and crew members on board are said to be safe. The captain of the flight sought permission of the ATC for emergency landing as the aircraft suffered windshield crack during the flight, said an official at NSC Bose International Airport. People in Mumbai are suffering from water logging as well as traffic jams which came as after effects of high tide. At some places, shanties were washed away and cars stood half-submerged in water.
