Mumbai, June 10 (ANI): Whole of Bollywod turned up at the launch of legendary actor DilipKumar's autobiography titled 'Substance and Shadow' in the showbiz capital Mumbai. From the veterans to the new bees all of them came up to be a part of Bollywood’s biggest day. On the occasion Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, superstar Aamir Khan, and bollywood beauty Madhuri Dixit said that it was big day for the industry and they all look forward to read the book. Hardcore Maoists surrender in Odisha

Odisha, June 7 (ANI): Four rebels of a hardcore Maoist organisation, CPI (Maoist) surrendered before police in Koraput district of Odisha.The police said their case is being recommended for rehabilitation under the surrender policy of Odisha government.The surrendered rebels included the area committee member, Krishana Praska, the other rebels -Raju Hikoka, Kosai Wateka alias Nirmala and Durjana Mandingi and all belonged to Srikakulam-Koraput divisional committee of the CPI (Maoist).Inspector General of Police, South Western Range, Yaswant Jethwa, said the rebels were carrying a cash prize of around Rs 1 lakh.Four active members of Maoist organisation, CPI (Maoists), including area committee member, a member of technical team of Andhra-Odisha Border Special Zonal Committee and two more active members have surrendered.

Rahul Gandhi visits Badaun, meets family of gang-rape victims

Badaun, May 31 (ANI): Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday visited Badaun in Uttar Pradesh where the two sisters were gang-raped and murdered. Gandhi met the family members of the victims and said that he agreed with the family who pressed for a CBI probe and refused to take any compensation as it would not restore their girls' honour. He added that justice should be done to the innocent girls and their family so that a message is spread among the culprits who execute similar crimes that such offenses will not be spared in country. Gandhi was accompanied by AICC general secretary in-charge of Uttar Pradesh Madhusudan Mistry, state PCC chief Nirmal Khatri and chairman of AICC Scheduled Castes department K Raju.
