Bankura, Jan 26 (ANI): Bankura, located in India's eastern state of West Bengal, is known for communal harmony among people of various faiths. Here people of different communities can be seen working together and maintaining good relations. Many small rope making units dot the region providing employment to several hundred people. A visit to one such rope making unit speaks volumes about the Hindu-Muslim unity. People of both communities work together and report no tensions between them. Owned by a Muslim, this rope making unit employs workers from both communities. The owner claims that he has expanded his business over the years leading to creation of more jobs. BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi to file nomination today

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): BJP's chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi is holding a roadshow ahead of filing her nomination papers for the Delhi assembly election. Earlier in the day, she paid tribute to Lala Lajpat Rai and also cleaned his statue in Krishna Nagar constituency. She also met tea and newspaper sellers in Krishna Nagar and enquired about the kind of issues they were facing. Bedi is scheduled to file her nomination from Krishna Nagar today. The scrutiny of nominations will take place tomorrow, while the last date for withdrawal of nominations is January 24. Polling will take place on February 7 and the counting of votes will be taken up on February 10.
