Political uncertainty plunges Bangladesh into cycle of violence ahead of elections

Dhaka, Nov 09 (ANI): Political uncertainty and unrest plunged Bangladesh into a cycle of violence as the two main political parties exploit the tension between secularists and Islamists ahead of elections. Senior advocate, Bangladesh Supreme Court, Yusuf Hossain Humayun, while talking to a reporter blamed the founder of Bangladesh Nationalist Party, Ziaur Rahman for allowing Jamaat-e-Islami to function as a political party. Commenting over the demand for a caretaker government, Humayun said that a constructional amendment for such a demand was not possible. Nov 9, 2013
