Mumbai, August 14 (ANI): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, along with Indian filmmaker Omung Kumar and producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali promoted biopic drama film Mary Kom in India_s showbiz capital Mumbai city. The life story of Indian boxing champion Mary Kom is the subject matter of the film. Chopra, who will be seen playing the role of the boxer in the film, started the event by singing a song of her movie. Also present at the event was the boxing star herself who praised Chopra for portraying her role on screen. She said Chopra was the perfect choice to depict her real life saga. While Priyanka said that she identified with the role because both she and Kom have certain similarities in their lives. Hailing from the insurgency-prone India_s northeastern province of Manipur and the mother of two, Kom is five-time women_s world boxing champion and Olympic bronze medalist. Mumbai, August 14 (ANI): Bollywood actor Aamir Khan who was attending a Marathi book release event in Mumbai, told media persons about the release of another poster for his upcoming film _PK_ and said it won_t even have a transistor. A case was filed against Khan, for his _obscene_ poster of his upcoming film _PK_, which was published in major newspapers across India. The poster showed Khan standing nude on a railway track with a strategically placed vintage boombox. The case was filed by an advocate in a court at Kanpur Manoj Kumar Dixit, against Khan, film producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra, film_s director Rajkumar Hirani and promoters of the film. _PK_ also stars Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and is slated for release on December 19. SC relaxes norms on Dahi Handi, allows participation of children above 12 years

New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): In a relief for the Dahi Handi mandals in Mumbai, the Supreme Court has relaxed the norms and restrictions put by the Bombay High Court on formation of the human pyramids. The court has also said that children below the age of 12 cannot participate in it. The Bombay High Court had banned the children below 18 years of age from participating in the formation of human pyramids during the festival and had put a height limit of 20 feet to the pyramids. RBI governor emphasizes on financial inclusions to reduce corruption

Mumbai, Aug 14 (ANI): RBI Chief, Raghuram Rajan, vouched for financial inclusion of the poor, in a bid to reduce corruption and boost the developing economy. Speaking at an Independence Day Literature event in Mumbai, Rajan said that India's economy has improved substantially since Independence, but it still lags behind some other countries, such as South Korea, which got their independence even later. He added that direct cash transfers to the poor would help breaking the cycle of dependency.
