RSS ideologue calls for slapping sedition charges against Farooq Abdullah

Nagpur, April 28 (ANI): Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) ideologue Virag Pachpor on Monday termed National Conference (NC) chief, Farooq Abdullah's comments as objectionable, and said sedition charges must be filed against the latter. The RSS ideologue also added that electing one person as prime minister cannot break the nation, and instead, asked the National Conference chief to come forward and discuss developmental issues. Police arrest three Maoists in Jharkhand

Palamu, April 24 (ANI): Acting on a tip-off, police arrested three Maoists accused in several attacks, in Jharkhand and also recovered arms and ammunition during search operation. Police recovered a looted police rifle and many rounds of unused bullets during the arrest of Maoists in Palamu district of Jharkhand. The Maoists, who say they are fighting for the rights of the poor and landless, control some of India's mineral-rich areas and operate in large swathes of eastern, central and southern countryside. Political candidates make frantic final push for votes

During an election campaign in Lucknow, BJP President Rajnath Singh rubbished media reports on Modi wave made by senior party leader Murli Manohar Joshi.
