Parineeti and Aditya to promote Daawat-e-Ishq via food trip

Mumbai, Sept 10 (ANI): Actors Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur announced their plan to promote their upcoming film, Daawat-e-Ishq (Feast of love) via food trip across the country. Speaking on the occasion Chopra said the marketing team of the movie had not informed them of the places they are likely to visit and has kept the entire trip as a surprise. Both Chopra and Kapur said they enjoyed the shooting of the film and had a great time having various foods throughout the movie. Chopra even added that it was a clean film and could be seen with the whole family without embarrassment. 'Daawat-e-Ishq' is directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films. It features actors Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra in the lead roles. Maharashtra Congress dispatch relief materials to flood hit JandK

Mumbai, Sep 09 (ANI): Congress party in Maharashtra, on Tuesday extended help to victims in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir and dispatched relief materials. Indian-administered Kashmir is experiencing worst flooding in 60 years, killing at least 175 and inundating homes, military bases and hospitals in region's main city Srinagar as the Jhelum river overflowed its banks. Prime Minister Narendra Modi termed it as a national disaster and announced 1000 crore rupees in disaster relief payments, as well as compensation to victims and their relatives. On Tuesday, the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee dispatched rubber boats to help rescue operations in the valley. Mumbai witnessed a beeline of devotees with huge idols of Ganesha walking across streets or on trucks and other vehicles. Security measures were beefed up across the state as thousands of devotees took to streets to bid a colourful farewell to Ganesha. Ganesha is regarded and worshipped as an index of knowledge and also the harbinger of auspicious tidings. The annual festival of Ganesha Chaturthi usually falls between August and September.
