Mumbai HC grants bail to DG Vanzara in Sohrabuddin fake encounter case, politicos react

New Delhi/ Ahmedabad, Sep 11 (ANI): Political leaders react as Mumbai High Court on Thursday granted bail to former Gujarat Deputy Inspector General of Police DG Vanzara in connection with the 2005 Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case. Vanzara has been in jail since 2007 on charges of having conducted a series of extra-judicial killings while heading the Gujarat Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). Congress leader Arjun Modhwadia said that the biggest beneficiary of the encounter was the one who is heading the country and the country's largest party at the moment and that the bail doesn't make much difference. However, NCP leader Tariq Anwar chose to respect by the judgement of the court. Sep 11, 2014

The actor was invited for a special screening of the movie in India's showbiz city of Mumbai. The movie, which is satirical, revolves around the lives of five dysfunctional characters living in a sleepy village in India's beach city, Goa. Their lives take a twisted turn when the old village postman, played by Shah, receives a letter under his door that he had thought he had posted to the love of his life almost 50 years ago.
