New Delhi/ Ahmedabad/ Mumbai, Sep 16 (ANI): Political parties on Monday wished for defeat of BJP and remained optimistic about themselves as early trends of by-polls surfaced. While Congress said that public is not happy with the BJP and that Congress will come to power now. NCP's Nawab Malik also said that people are not happy and satisfied with the BJP government and is therefore showing its anguish against the ruling party. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party remained optimistic and even confident of its win and said that the SP Chief and the government have worked tremendously for Uttar Pradesh and that people will decide in their favour. Deepika Padukone blasts 'cleavage' story, gets B-town support

Mumbai /New Delhi, Sept 16 (ANI): Celebrities backed Bollywood's glamorous actress, Deepika Padukone, as she declared war on social networking site Twitter after a leading newspaper published her photograph with an article emphasising on her cleavage. The war started on September 14 when a leading daily published a photo gallery on its website titled "OMG: Deepika Padukone's Cleavage Show". After the post, Padukone retorted and tweeted "YES! I am a Woman. I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??" "Don't talk about Woman's Empowerment when YOU don't know how to RESPECT Women!" she added. Later on, the daily clarified that the report was meant to be a "compliment". "You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew! :)" the newspaper tweeted. The newspaper's defence was met with more outrage as Bollywood actors, actresses, directors and Padukone's fans came out in her support to express shock and criticise the media. Bollywood diva, Priyanka Chopra, said she is proud of Padukone as she revealed everyday struggle of women in the film industry. RBI chief says inflation coming down

Mumbai, Sept 15 (ANI): RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan, said on Monday that India's macroeconomic indicators are improving but Asia's third-largest economy needs to eliminate diesel subsidy completely. Rajan said data suggested that it was a matter of time that we can declare ourselves totally out of inflation. Rajan was speaking at a gathering of the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Indian Banks' Association (IBA) at the thirteenth edition of FIBAC. With crude oil prices falling globally, Rajan pitched in for eliminating diesel subsidies completely.
