Mindy Kaling visited the TODAY show to promote her hit sitcom, ‘The Mindy Project’ and made sure to pose with fans while Jada Pinkett Smith didn’t disappoint as she stopped by to talk about her highly anticipated series, ‘Gotham’. James Van Der Beek was swarmed by fans wanting selfies as he plugged his new series, ‘CSI: Cyber and Zachary Quinto also took time out to sigh autographs and pose for photos. LONDON Absent from the stage after 25 years, Emma Thompson returns in grand fashion in Stephen Sondheim’s macabre classic, 'Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street'. The Oscar winning actress performed the lead role briefly in New York before bringing it to London. LOS ANGELES: Halle Berry caused a flashbulb frenzy at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. Television’s biggest night attracted a star-studded guest list that included Julia Roberts, Claire Danes, Matthew McConaughy, Kerry Washington, Zooey Deschanel, Lena Headey, Sofia Vergara, Hayden Panetierre, Kelly Osbourne, Allison Williams, Don Cheadle, Melissa McCarthy and husband Ben Falcone, Lena Dunham, who wore a colorful, tiered skirt, and Sarah Paulson who donned a black, frothy gown with red embellishments. While fashion got lots of attention, awards were the focus of the festivities. “The Normal Heart” won for television movie. Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn received Emmys, as did their show, Breaking Bad. The Good Wife’s Julianna Margulies took home a Lead Actress trophy… …while Comedy honors went to Allison Janney and Sarah Silverman, as well as Ty Burrell, who stars in Modern Family, named Outstanding Comedy for the fifth time. Other winners brought their new “accessory” to the HBO Official Emmy After- Party. Jim Parsons won for his work on The Big Bang Theory, Julia Louis- Dreyfus for Veep, and Stephen Colbert struck gold with The Colbert Report.
