Lucknow/Mumbai/Nagpur/New Delhi, Sep 19 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Friday as BJP and Shiv Sena continue their dispute over seat sharing in the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections. Congress leader Anees Ahmed and NCP leader Nawab Malik said that both the parties wish to make their candidate the Chief Minister of Maharashtra and hence they are fighting over seat-distribution. SP leader Naresh Agarwal said that both the parties are definitely going to fight the upcoming Maharashtra assembly elections in the alliance, as they are not capable of contesting alone. US call for greenfield investments in India

New Delhi, Sept 18 (ANI): In a bid to end the blockage of global trade, US top official called for green field investments in India through the 'Select USA' programme that will specifically concentrate on assisting new and expanding existing businesses. Speaking to reporters at CII Headquarters in New Delhi on Thursday Executive Director, Select USA, Vinai Thummalapally, invited competitive investors from India to USA. The director is on a seven-day visit to India and will be travelling across five cities – Delhi, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Bangalore – to boost trade investment in the US. Counsellor for Commercial Affair John M McCaslin was also present at the "Select USA" press conference organised by the US Department of Commerce. New Delhi, Sep 18 (ANI): India and China on Thursday signed 12 agreements, including one on five years economic and trade development plan. An agreement on audio visual co-production, two documents on railways, another document on work plan for drug administration and a MoU on culture were exchanged between the two countries. An MoU on peaceful use of outer space and a twinning agreement between Shanghai and Mumbai were also signed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Chinese President Xi Jinping has assured that he will take concrete steps to correct the trade imbalance and give more market access and investment in China.
