Bollywood Actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar dies at 64

Mumbai, Nov 03 (ANI): Bollywood Actor Sadashiv Amrapurkar best known for playing negative roles, passed away at a hospital early on Monday. He was 64. Amrapurkar was being treated for lung infection at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital (KDAH) in Mumbai and was admitted there two weeks ago and was on life support since then. In his long career, he has won two Filmfare awards - in 1984, he won the award for the best supporting actor for 'Ardh Satya' and in 1991, the best villain trophy for 'Sadak'. The actor is also known for his performance in Aankhen, Ishq, Coolie No 1 and Gupt: The Hidden Truth among others. Born and brought up in a Maharashtrain Brahmin family, Sadashiv Amrapurkar is fondly called Tatya by his family and close friends. Meanwhile, Bollywood grieved on the loss. New Delhi/ Mumbai/ Lucknow, Nov 02 (ANI): Political leaders on Sunday condemned businessman Robert Vadra's misbehaviour with media where he attacked a reporter after being asked about his land deals in Haryana. BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said that Vadra had received benefits during Congress government in Haryana and now as he is at the verge of being exposed he is misbehaving. Mumbai, Nov 01 (ANI): Star cast of the upcoming romantic-action Bollywood film 'Kill/Dil' came together for the music launch in India's showbiz capital Mumbai on Friday (October 31). The film features Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra, actors Ranveer Singh and Govinda and Pakistani singer-actor Ali Zafar. Produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films banner, the film has been directed by Shaad Ali. The star cast of the film launched much-awaited song 'Nakhriley' and also performed live on stage during the promotional event. Govinda, who is playing an antagonist in the film, said he is lucky to be associated with the prestigious banner. Meanwhile, actress Parineeti Chopra, who has gained much acclaim in her short career span in the industry, said the film gave her an opportunity to experiment with herself.
