People in Trivandrum runs to create cancer awareness

Trivandrum, Jan 11 (ANI): Hundreds of people gathered in Trivandrum on Saturday to take part in a marathon to create awareness about the cancer disease and support the underprivileged cancer patients. Thousands of men, women and children participated in the annual run to raise the funds for the patients in the regional Cancer centre. The run started from Kanakakunnu palace in Trivandrum at 6.30 am. Theme for the marathon was to 'RUN FOR LIFE'. A participant, Ajith Kumar expressed sheer happiness and said youngsters as well as elderly were very happy to be a part of this run. Jan 11, 2014
