This week in the celebrity spotlight: Nominations for the Golden Globes, SAG and Grammys are announced, stars rock around the Christmas tree and the Hobbit invades Hollywood. Welcome to the Getty Images Week in Review. Here’s what’s been happening with your favorite celebs this week. Ansel Elgort & Eva Longoria were up early to kick off award season with the announcement of the Screen Actor Guild Awards nominations. ‘Birdman’ led the way with four nods including ones for Michael Keaton, Edward Norton & Emma Stone. Following close behind, ‘Boyhood’, ‘The Imitation Game’ & ‘The Theory of Everything’ with three nominations each. Jennifer Aniston & Reese Witherspoon each received recognition along with Benedict Cumberbatch who was a double nominee for TV’s ‘Sherlock: His Last Vow’ and for ‘The Imitation Game’. On the small screen, ‘Modern Family’ garnered four nods with ‘Boardwalk Empire,’ ‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘Homeland’ & ‘House of Cards’ following with three apiece. The awards will be handed out January 25th. Award season continues to take shape with the announcement of the 2015 Golden Globe nominations. Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy call-off their engagement

New Delhi, Dec 09 (ANI): Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy have broken off their engagement after four years of being together. The 36-year-old Muse frontman's spokesperson told a web portal that though the pair, who had welcomed their son, Bingham Bellamy, in July 2011, has been apart for a while, they are still close friends and committed co-parents. The split comes as a surprise as the couple had happily walked the LACMA Art + Film Gala red carpet together only last month, and the actress, 35, had even revealed her Thanksgiving family plans that included Bellamy.
