Jet Airways Bhopal New Delhi flight aborted after engine catches fire

New Delhi, Aug 14 (ANI): A Bhopal bound Jet Airways flight's engine caught fire on Thursday morning while taking off from Delhi. All the passengers were evacuated safely. Paid news case: SC directs Delhi HC to decide disqualification of Ashok Chavan within 15 days

New Delhi, Aug 13 (ANI): In the paid news case the Supreme Court on Wednesday directed the Delhi High Court to decide on the disqualification of Ashok Chavan in the next 15 days. The Delhi High Court had earlier stayed an Election Commission showcause notice to the former Maharashtra Chief Minister in July. Supporter of PM suffers due to cease of pension by UP government

Varanasi, Aug 10 (ANI): A supporter of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Virbhadra Nishad complained of non-payment of pension to old people in Uttar Pradesh. The government of Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has stopped provision of pension to the old people after BJP won in the state. Virbhadra Nishad, a boatman, was one of the people who proposed Modi's nomination from temple town Varanasi for the general elections. He was also a constant supporter of the nationalist leader during the elections. However, Nishad complained that the state government of Samajwadi Party has ceased to pay due amount of pension despite him suffering from critical health conditions. New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 96.19 points up to stand at 26,087.42. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 42.70 points up to stand at 7,791.40. Ashok Leyland and HDIL were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 6.56% and 5.84% along with Indiabulls Real Estate and CESC with an increase of 5.57% and 5.56% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include L&T and Financial Technologies with a decrease of 7.22% and 5.00% along with Pipavav Defence and Havells India with a decrease of 4.05% and 3.60% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 99.54 points at 15,587.74 while the banking sector is up 273.12 points 17,694.51 and the realty sector is up 15.30 points at 1,888.46. HC issues notice to Naqvi in paid news case
