First Look of 'Shamitabh'

Mumbai, Jan 7 (ANI): Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday launched the trailer of the much anticipated movie 'Shamitabh' along with the cast and crew in India's entertainment capital Mumbai. The film's trailer seems to have increased the curiosity of moviegoers without revealing any inch of the plot. The trailer showcases Amitabh in a rugged look with heavy beard and unkempt hairstyle. Bollywood actress, Akshara Haasan, is set to make her debut with 'Shamitabh' along with actor Dhanush. 'Shamitabh' is amalgamation of two letters of Dhanush's name 'Sh' which is followed by Amitabh's name. Excited about his role, Dhanush said that he was 'gladly enjoying' his role. New Delhi/ Mumbai, Jan 07 (ANI): Reactions poured in on Wednesday after Pakistan's Supreme Court denied bail to 26/11 mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi. Defence expert Praful Bakshi said that Pakistan's judiciary seems to have its own voice. Defence expert Uday Bhaskar said that the decision should be cautiously welcomed. Pakistan's Supreme Court denies bail to 26/11 Mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi

Islamabad, Jan 07 (ANI): The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday setting aside Islamabad High Court's (IHC) decision, denied suspension of the detention of Lashkar-e-Taiba commander, Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi, accused of plotting the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. According to the media reports, Pak SC declared IHC's order of releasing Lakhvi from jail as void and opined that the decision to grant bail to Lakhvi was taken in a hurry. The reports further stated that, Pak SC directed IHC to hear arguments of Lakhvi's lawyer and the Central Government of Pakistan. Earlier, the Islamabad High Court had ordered conditional release of Lakhvi and had asked him to deposit a security bond of Rs 1 million in response to his petition seeking an end to his detention. Music launch of film 'Khamoshiyan'

Mumbai, Jan 6 (ANI): The star cast of upcoming Bollywood film 'Khamoshiyan-Silences have secrets' attended its music launch in India's showbiz capital Mumbai on Monday. Produced under the banner of Vishesh Films, the erotic love triangle is directed by debutant director Karan Dara and produced by filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt. Interacting with media persons during the event, Mahesh Bhatt said that his latest film will portray women in a daring persona, unlike in his previous films like 'Murder' and 'Jism'. The film will see British model-turned-actress Sapna Pabbi in the lead role starring opposite Indian television actor Gurmeet Choudhary, who is making his debut in Bollywood with the film.The film is set to release on 30th January, 2015.
