Rajkot, Nov 25 (ANI): Riding on the Modi wave, the share market in Gujarat is on a newfound high as Gujaratis trade in new Initial Public Offering (IPOs) and invest more and more in stock markets. Modi's victory unleashed a rush of money from foreign portfolios betting the reformist prime minister would drive a quick recovery. The retail investors in Gujarat have gained confidence once again and are back in business. CEO of SKSE Securities Limited, Ashok Koyani, said that in the coming years Modi's government will provide the much needed impetus for the stock market. Kolkata, Nov 22 (ANI): Trinamool Congress MP Srinjoy Bose, who was arrested by the CBI in connection with the multi-crore rupee Saradha Chit Fund Scam, was remanded to CBI custody till 26th November on Saturday. Media persons condemn attack by police at Rampal's hermitage

New Delhi/Hisar, Nov 19 (ANI): Media persons condemned the assault on them on Wednesday after some media persons were attacked by police during clashes with the Rampal's supporters on Tuesday. The incident occurred after followers of Rampal opened fire at police personnel standing on guard outside the hermitage, thus forcing police to resort to baton charge and firing, leaving many injured and two police personnel getting shot. Journalist Prashant Gupta said that the attack on media persons have scared the camerapersons and reporters. Reacting on the development Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said wherever there has been lapse on part of the state government, the new government would take corrective measures. Mumbai, Nov 19 (ANI): The Bombay High Court on Wednesday rejected the CBI plea seeking to delete the name of former Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan from the list of accused in the Adarsh Society Scam case. Justice ML Tahiliyani gave the ruling in the CBI revision application after its earlier plea was rejected by a Special CBI court in January. BAYER CROPSCIENCE LTD. and AIA ENGINEERING LTD were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 10.35% and 7.61% along with MAHINDRA & MAHINDRA FINANCIAL SERVICES and ASHOK LEYLAND LTD with an increase of 7.57% and 7.37% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include HCC and CADILA HEALTHCARE LTD with a decrease of 4.49% and 4.26% along with IOC and IL&FS Transportation Networks Ltd. with a decrease of 4.00% and 3.87% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 217.16 points at 18,617.56 while the banking sector is up 223.20 points at 20,117.78 and the reality sector is down 2.52 points at 1,654.92. Aviation minister doesnt rule out privatisation for Air India

New Delhi, Nov 10 (ANI): Union Civil Aviation Minister, Ashok Gajapathi Raju Pusapati, does not deny rumours of privatisation of national carrier, Air India, which has been struggling to stay in the air in the past few years. At a news conference in New Delhi on Monday (November 10), Pusapati said the future of the national carrier, which is dependent on taxpayer cash, was a matter of great concern for the country and hinted that suggestions for its privatisation were being considered.
