France is beginning operations to evacuate and dismantle the Calais Jungle refugee camp. 60 buses are to take the 6,500 residents to refugee centres across France where they will be able to apply for asylum in the country. Clashes broke out on 23 October as migrants and militants set fire to portable toilets and threw stones at police, who responded with tear gas. Oct 24, 2016
