Mumbai, Sep 28 (ANI): Bollywood actresses, who acted in films made by late Bollywood director, Yash Chopra also known as the ‘king of romance’ walked the ramp for the cinematic genius remembering him on his 81st birth anniversary in Mumbai. Nine Bollywood actresses, Rekha, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra, Sri Devi and Rani Mukherjee sizzled down the ramp, paying tribute to the legendary director. An emotional Rekha said that Chopra would remain in her heart forever. Kejriwal meets President, requests not to approve ordinance on convicted lawmakers

BJP says Ordinance on convicted lawmakers against Constitution

New Delhi, Sep 26 (ANI): After a delegation of BJP leaders met President Pranab Mukherjee to voice its opposition to the Ordinance proposed by the Centre providing protection to convicted lawmakers, BJP leader Sushma Swaraj said that the ordinance is against the Constitution of India. Swaraj also said that the party had always opposed the Ordinance, which is illegal, immoral and unconstitutional. India to fund 144 million dollars power transmission project in Liberia

New Delhi, Sept 12 (ANI): India's decision to extend 144 million US dollars credit to Liberia will further enhance engagements between the two nations. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh stated this in New Delhi after signing an agreement with the visiting Liberian President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Sirleaf flew to India on September 09 at the invitation of her Indian counterpart Pranab Mukherjee. India has extended this credit to Liberia for development of power transmission and distribution projects to reduce the gap of power shortage in Liberia. Further he said the two sides have decided to enhance cooperation in a number of areas, including agricultural research, healthcare, small and medium enterprises, science and technology, education and skill development.
