India's aeronautical strength exhibition is set to kick start in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Feb 11 (ANI): India's Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) is all set to organize the tenth edition of Aero India air show in Bengaluru city from February 18. The biennial air show and aviation exhibition - Aero India Aerospace Exposition - will see the participation of leading countries including US, Russia, France and UK. The exhibition will have 'Make in India' as its major theme and will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Aero India show would highlight examples of technological advancement achieved by India through international cooperation. New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): India is expecting participation of more than 600 global armament majors at the five-day defence exhibition, showing their state-of-art-technology, said an official. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Aero-India 2015, one of the largest premium air shows in Asia, in Bengaluru city on February 18 with aim to attract investment in the country. Modi's 'Make in India' initiative is the major theme for the exhibition. The initiative has been launched to boost industrial production by inviting foreign as well as domestic investment and cutting red tape. Govt aimed at enhancing facilities for students from North-East: Jitendra Singh

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office, Dr Jitendra Singh, said on Monday that the Central government is aimed at enhancing facilities for the students of north-east in terms of education. Singh said that the authorities have decided to build a hostel for the north-eastern students in JNU campus. Rajnath Singh chairs meeting of four CMs of Naxal affected states

New Delhi, Feb 09 (ANI): In order to give shape to fight back against the Naxals, Home Minister Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting of chief ministers of four Maoist-hit states in New Delhi on Monday. The Chief Ministers of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Telangana and Odisha attended the meeting today. According to reports the meeting stressed on better coordination among state and central paramilitary forces of the four states to plug loopholes and counter the rebels.
