Defence firms showcase their capabilities at Indian aero show

Bengaluru, Feb 21 (ANI): Aero India 2015, the premiere air show of Asia, hosted a range of defence equipments showcased by firms from world's leading defence suppliers in India's IT hub Bengaluru. The 10th edition of the international event is themed on Prime Minister Narendra Modi's ambitious 'Make in India' project in aerospace, defence, civil aviation, airport infrastructure and defence engineering. Countries like the U.S., Russia France and Israel are participating in the event and are acknowledging the nation's growing defence market and hope to contribute to the same. Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), OIS Advanced Technology Limited, NK Sharma, spoke about indigenous 3D radar systems, namely 3D Bird Detection, Tracking and Monitoring and Deterrence Radar System and Ground Surveillance Radar System. Congress says govt notice over party headquarters Delhi's Akbar Road not for 'eviction'

New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Congress leader Motilal Vora on Friday said that the notice served by BJP led central government allegedly to vacate its national headquarter in New Delhi’s Akbar Road was not for ‘eviction’. Vora said that the notice had come from the Urban Development Ministry and the party had replied to the same. He also said that if the ministry has any query, the party will respond to the same. Two more people arrested for allegedly leaking documents from petroleum ministry, to be interrogated

New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Delhi Police arrested two more people on Friday apart from five others involved in leaking confidential papers from the petroleum ministry, said police commissioner BS Bassi. He said that the two others will be interrogated and further details will be provided thereafter. Bassi also said that the investigation is on in the case and that names of the companies involved can be exposed after detailed information. Petroleum ministry document leak: Dharmendra Pradhan says everything would be clear once independent

New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): A day after five people, two of them officials of the Petroleum Ministry, were arrested for allegedly leaking confidential government documents to energy consultants and corporates, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that independent enquiry is going on and things would become clear once it ends. At least 25 people have been detained for questioning, the Delhi police said. The recepients of the classified information have also been identified and are being questioned, Delhi Police Chief BS Bassi said. Feb 20, 2015
