US reiterates 'no change' in visa policy if Narendra Modi chose to reapply

New Delhi, Nov 6 (ANI): The US has reiterated its stand on its visa policy and said that BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi can reapply if he wants and wait for a review. US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Marie Harf said that there has been no change in the visa policy and Modi is welcome to apply for the procedure and wait for any other applicant. According to reports, the Gujarat Chief Minister, was denied a diplomatic visa in 2005 and his existing tourist and business visa was revoked under the Immigration and Nationality Act that makes a foreign government official responsible for severe violations of religious freedom ineligible for a travel document.
