India-Pak border meeting raises hope of peace at Kashmir border

RS Pura, Aug 30 (ANI): Pakistani Rangers and India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) flag meet raises hope of peace at Line of control (LoC) in Kashmir, after a "successful" meeting between the border guards of the two nations, said senior official. The meeting was held at the Octroi Post in Suchetgarh area near the international border. Inspector General of BSF, Rakesh Sharma said that the meeting was "successful" and pleasant while primary issues were discussed to cease border tension. Aug 30, 2014

Gwalior judge sexual harassment case: SC stays inquiry against MP HC Judge, issues notice to him

New Delhi, Aug 29 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Friday agreed to consider a plea by a former additional district judge of Gwalior in a sexual harassment case, demanding a fresh inquiry levelled by her against a High Court judge. Mumbai, August 28 (ANI): Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is all set to launch the third season of his popular talk show, 'Satyamev Jayate'. He made this announcement on Wednesday in India’s showbiz capital Mumbai recently. The new season will go on air on 21st September and will consist of six episodes. The last two seasons of the show, which revolved around social issues like female foeticide, dowry, domestic violence and sexual abuse, received an overwhelming response from viewers. He said that his team tries to bring a change in society from the very grassroots. Jammu, Aug 27 (ANI): Inspector General of BSF Jammu frontier, Rakesh Sharma on Wednesday informed that the first flag meeting between India and Pakistan post the ceasefire violations was held to resolve the issues at border. He further added that the meeting was held on primary level and it was decided that more such meetings would be held in near future to ensure peace at the border. The border officers' talks took place a day after the Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) had talked over the hotline on ways to de-escalate tensions along the Line of Control and the International Border. The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMO) of India and Pakistan had concluded their talks on a positive note. Both the sides had then agreed to hold regular flag meetings to diffuse the tense situation along the Line of Control (LoC) and the International Border. Aug 27, 2014
