New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): In yet another serious crime against women, Delhi Gangrape victim Nirbhaya's nurse has allegedly been gang-raped in Punjab. Reacting to this, BJP leader Sambit Patra said that it was a deplorable incident and strict action should be taken. SP leader Naresh Agarwal said that increasing crime against women is a sign of bad governance. Congress leader Barkha Shukla said that immediate cognizance should be taken in the matter and action should be taken against all the accused. Court issues summons to Subramanian Swamy after defamation suit filed by Jayalalitha

New Delhi, Sep 10 (ANI): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Wednesday was summoned by a local court in connection with a defamation suit filed by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha. Swamy said that the court has not investigated into the matter before sending summon and added that in the end he will sue Jayalalitha for the damages. Health Ministers of S East Asian countries meet in Dhaka to focus on vector borne diseases

Dhaka, Sep 10 (ANI): The Health Ministers of 11 South East Asian countries met in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka for a four-day meeting on various health issues pertaining to the region with special focus on vector-borne diseases. The 32nd meeting of the Ministers of Health of World Health Organisation South-East Asia Region (WHO-SEAR) and the 67th Session of the WHO Regional Committee for South-East Asia started on Wednesday. Margaret Chan, Director General of World Health Organization (WHO) said that the meeting was special as the focus this year was on vector-borne diseases. Meanwhile, India's Health Minister Harsh Vardhan, addressing the gathering said that he was happy that traditional medicine was being discussed by the committee. He also said that he was happy that an agreement was being signed between India and Bangladesh in this field.
