NEW YORK Celebrities from across the entertainment world came come out to pay their last respects to Joan Rivers in New York City. The comedy icon, who passed away on September 4th, was eulogized by her daughter, Melissa Rivers and reports include that Hugh Jackman made a special appearance to sing in her honor. The standing room only crowd included Sarah Jessica Parker and husband Matthew Broderick, Barbara Walters, Whoopie Goldberg, Howard Stern, Kelly Osbourne, Denis Leary and Kathy Griffin. In other sad news Simone Battle, a member of the girl group G.R.L. died over the weekend in an apparent suicide. The former X-Factor finalist was only 25. TORONTO The Toronto Film Festival continued with the premiere of ‘Black and White’. Stars Kevin Costner, Anthony Mackie and Octavia Spencer came out to support the family drama.
