Witness in Asaram Rape Case shot dead in Muzaffarnagar

Muzaffarnagar, Jan 12 (ANI): Former aide of Asaram Bapu was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Jansath Road under New Mandi police station area in Muzaffarnagar when he was returning home. Akhil Gupta was also a witness in the Asaram's Surat rape case. Police said Gupta was shot at when he was on his way home and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. Gupta was a cook and personal aide of Asaram, who is in jail in connection with another case of sexual assault on a minor girl. Two sisters in Surat have accused Asaram and his son Narayan Sai of raping them. Jan 12, 2015

Birpara, Dec 27 (ANI): Several tribal groups on Saturday have called for shutdown in Birpara area of Alipurduar district of West Bengal following the attacks by the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) which killed over 80 people. NDFB militants killed over 80 people in the Sonitpur, Kokrajhar and Chirang districts of Assam ths week. Various groups such as All Assam Tea Tribes Student Association, Adivasi Chhatra Sangathan, Akhil Assam Bhojpuri Parishad, All Assam Minority Students' Union (AAMSU) and seven other groups had observed Bandh in several areas of Assam even on Friday. Hindu Mahasabha wants to install Godse's bust at public places

New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha' wants to install Nathuram Godse's bust at public places in cities across India, national president Chandra Prakash Kaushik said on Friday. Talking to mediapersons in New Delhi, he said that he will write a letter to the central government asking for space. He added that if roads can be named after Aurangzeb who killed so many Hindus, why cant Godse's statues be not installed.
