Sadie Hartleys partner was sexting her killer just days before her murder

Sadie Hartley, 60, was stunned with a cattle prod and stabbed 40 times at her home in Helmshore, Lancashire, on 14 January 2016. On 17 August her murderers Sarah Williams, 35, and co-defendant Katrina Walsh, 56, received life sentences with minimum terms of 30 and 25 years for what was described as a brutal and senseless act. The court heard that Williams was obsessed with Hartleys partner Ian Johnson, 57, which was her motive for the killing.
