Omar Abdullah thanks voters for voting, says India-Pak issues should be solved through dialogue

Srinagar, Nov 26 (ANI): Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that the voting process in the state went peacefully for the first phase. He also thanked the voters for coming out and voting in large numbers. He further stressed on the fact that media should not present voting in Jammu and Kashmir as a loss of militants and separatists as it gives them an incentive to fail the media and act outrageously. Talking about the issues between India and Pakistan, Abdullah said that the Jammu and Kashmir people as well as government want the issue to be solved through dialogue process but added that it depends on the leaders of the two nations. Kathmandu, Nov 25 (ANI): Residents of Nepal are enthusiastic about Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the country for 18th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit as Modi is scheduled to arrive in capital Kathmandu later in the day on Tuesday. Leaders from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, India and Pakistan meet in Kathmandu for two days for the plenary session from November 26 for the SAARC summit. The last minute preparations for the summit are in full swing in Nepal as the authorities have heightened the security for the two-day event where leaders from eight nations will meet and discuss the core issues of importance. Pained by the behaviour of Congress: Venkaiah Naidu on black money

New Delhi, Nov 25 (ANI): Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu said on Tuesday that he does not need to give an account of what the government is doing in regard with the black money issue because the entire nation is watching it. Naidu added that he is deeply pained by the behaviour of Congress party in Parliament because they have been the main culprits in accumulating black money abroad and now they are raising issues on the floor of the house saying that the government has not been able to fulfill its 100 days’ promise.
