New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said on Thursday that all issues raised by the Opposition parties have been properly addressed in the Parliament so they should not disrupt parliamentary proceedings by continuously adjourning the house. She added that after PM Narendra Modi_s statement about Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti_s language so they should not raise the issue continuously to create chaos. Sadhvi row: Govt says Opposition short of issues, Congress continues to demand resignation

New Delhi, Dec 04 (ANI): After Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a statement in the Rajya Sabha about Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti_s use of obnoxious language during an election rally. Union Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that after continuous demand by the opposition for PM_s remark over the issue, PM Modi made a statement and said such language is condemnable. He said that even when the PM made his statement, the Opposition especially Congress is still raising the issue out of desperation. Request Opposition to let Parliament run, no question of Sadhvi's resignation: Venkaiah Naidu

New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Wednesday requested the Opposition parties to maintain calm and let Parliament run. Naidu said that the Congress and TMC parties are trying to adjourn the houses and not letting main issues come to discussion which is not in the benefit of the country. Further, talking about the opposition’s demand for Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti's resignation, using the example of Congress leader Beni Prasad Verma who used indecent language against many leaders, Naidu said that there is no question of the Minister's resignation as she has tendered an apology for her statement.
