New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Political leaders reacted on Monday after BJP leader Yogi Adityanath still held his opinion for religion conversion. NCP leader Majid Memon said that such issues should not be given much importance because they tend to raise communal disharmony. BSP Chief Mayawati said that UP government should take note of the situation. JD (U) Chief Sharad Yadav said that BJP only tries to spread communal tension. Yogi Adityanath remains defiant, says nothing wrong in 'ghar wapsi' and should be allowed

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Amidst raging controversy over his statement on conversion issue, BJP MP Yogi Adityanath remained defiant and said that there is nothing wrong in 'ghar wapsi' programme and that the same should be allowed. Adityanath claimed that the opposition parties are trying to divide the society and further said that since independence, many states had massive conversion due to allurement and pressure. He said that if these people wanted to come back to their original religion, the doors for the same should be open. Lashing out at the opposition for creating ruckus over the conversion issue, the BJP MP said that they had run out of issues and did not want discussion on anything which is why they are doing this. New Delhi, Dec 14 (ANI): Politicos react as Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan said that Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik is acting 'more like a priest of the Ayodhya temple than a governor'. Khan said this at a public gathering on Saturday in Amroha. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the statement given by the governor was not correct. NCP leader Majid Memon said that Khan is known for making such types of comment, but the governor also should refrain from making such statements on the issue. RJD leader Manoj Jha said that it is the responsibility of the governor to take care of the constitutional things. CPI leader Atul Anjan said that Azam Khan should try to avoid speaking in first place. Pro ISIS twitter account handler detained in Bengaluru, Politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 13 (ANI): Political leaders on Saturday welcomed the detention of Pro ISIS twitter account handler in Bengaluru. Bengaluru police have detained the handler of the pro ISIS twitter handle at ShamiWitness on Friday night. However, the top police officials declined to confirm whether he was arrested and under which sections was a case made out against him. Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agrawal said that its good that the person in question is arrested but the intelligence agencies should remain more alert on such issues.
