People in Maoist-hit Rayagada pins hope on Modi govt for security

Rayagada, May 30 (ANI): People living in Maoist-affected Rayagada district of Odisha banked on newly formed central government for safety and security. Residents of Maoist-affected villages said they were expecting Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led union government to take concrete steps against Maoists in the region. People complained that the district was neglected during Congress party’s regime and hoped for better future. Even though the Congress party introduced many developmental schemes related to agriculture, irrigation, communication, food security and consumer welfare sanctions, people were unhappy with improper implementation.
