PM Modi tops global leaders' list according to Harvard Study

New Delhi, Dec 20 (ANI): According to a study by Harvard University, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tops the list of global leaders with reference to the developmental issues took up by him. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the foreign studies hold no meaning because decision of development is actually taken by the people of the country. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that Harvard has not considered all facts before study as no development has taken place in last 6 months of PM Modi's rule. JD (U) leader Ali Anwar said that such studies are not trustworthy. Meanwhile, BJP leader Sambit Patra said that the leaders of Opposition should learn from these studies as PM Modi is being appreciated worldwide for the development issues raised by him. Dec 20, 2014

Post Peshawar attack, MHA issues guidelines to schools over security; politicos react

New Delhi, Dec 20 (ANI): The Union Home Ministry has issued fresh guidelines to schools across the country over security measures, days after militants in Peshawar killed 132 innocent school children. The fresh Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for schools issued by the MHA has advisory such as concrete boundary walls with at least three to four gates and three telephone lines at the main gate. The SOP also says that telephone number of nearest police station and PCR van should be displayed prominently in schools. It also emphasized on giving importance to CCTV cameras and alarm system.
