Amethi, April 12 (ANI): Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday filed his nomination papers for the Lok Sabha polls from Amethi. Dhaka, Dec 18 (ANI): Thousands of Bangladesh’s ruling party Awami League’s supporters marched on the streets in capital Dhaka to protest a fresh transport blockade, called by opposition parties to oppose the upcoming national polls in Bangladesh. The 18-party alliance of opposition parties, led by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), had called for 72-hour blockade of roads, railways and waterways across Bangladesh starting from Tuesday. Narayanganj/ Bogra, Dec 02 (ANI): Violence erupted in parts of Bangladesh as opposition parties went on a rampage, burnt vehicles, exploded crude bombs and sabotaged railway tracks amid the ongoing 72-hour blockade called by them to oppose the upcoming polls in the country. Reportedly, three passengers in Narayanganj district sustained burn injuries as agitators set their vehicles on fire.
