New Delhi, Oct 03 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday shared'Mann ki Baat' on All India Radio in an attempt to get connected with maximum number of people nad with those who have no access to TV. Modi urged people to buy khadi products thereby helping poor in some way. He promised to make his radio address a fortnightly occurrence, saying that he would try to speak to the nation over radio at least two Sundays a month at 11:00 AM. The prime minster also asked people to gain back their self-respect and confidence and work for a better country. He also asked people to connect to him and send their suggestions regularly. New Delhi, Sep 25 (ANI): Indian Mars orbiter spacecraft 'Mangalyaan' which began its rotation around Mars after its successful insertion into the orbit on Wednesday, has now sent the first pictures of the red planet. The Mars Orbiter Mission affectionately called "MOM" created history on Wednesday by making India the first country ever to have reached Mars' orbit successfully in its very first attempt. On Wednesday, the Union Cabinet also passed a unanimous resolution lauding the efforts of scientists and engineers of the Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO) for the success of Mars Orbiter Mission 'Mangalyaan'.
