New Delhi/ Bhopal, Jan 14 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party slammed the ruling Congress party for showing outrage against Narendra Modi's remark and said that anger should have been instead directed against the red-tapism shown by the Ministry of Environment and Forests. BJP Spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman asked Congress to divert its sense of outrage towards its former Minister of Environment and Forests Jayanthi Natarajan. Kolhapur, Jan 12 (ANI): Nine toll booths in Kolhapur district of Maharashtra were ransacked on Sunday by a group of activists after a dispute over collection of toll tariff. The roads and nearby highways have also been severely vandalized, following which the protesters were detained, police confirmed. About dozen members of anti-toll action committee had launched a hunger strike six days ago, saying that they would not call it off unless the toll collection stopped. Dantewada, Jan 10 (ANI): Dantewada in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh lacks basic facilities like education and healthcare because of threats posed by the Naxals. The area has a low literacy rate and the youth have no employment opportunities. The chances of their being misled by the Maoists are quite high. In the effort to create employment opportunities for the youth and to prevent them from being exploited by anti-social elements, the Livelihood College plays a significant role. The college helps in capacity building of the youth to encourage them to become self-employed. The college has hostel facilities and it aims to improve the skills of the local youth who already have technical qualifications.
