On Tuesday, the broader Nifty and Sensex opened on bullish note by 37.15 points and 93.92 points after falling for previous four sessions due to sale of shares by foreign investors last week. BJP says wide stakeholder consultations needed for implementation of UCC, politicos react

New Delhi, July 15 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday reacted over Law Minster Ravi Shankar Prasad___s written reply to the Lok Sabha that wide consultations with stakeholders will be required before taking any further steps on the issue of uniform civil code. Subramanian Swamy and Yogi Adityanath of the BJP emphasized that the Uniform Civil Code already exists in the constitution in Article 44 but there is a need to discuss and deliberate on the matter with everyone. Swamy added that it is extremely important to have common laws for marriage and inheritance.
