New Delhi, Nov 11 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 35.33 points up to stand at 27,910.06. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 18.40 points up to stand at 8,362.65. AMTEKAUTO and HCC were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 16.91 and 8.50% along with JAIN IRRIGATION SYSTEMS LTD. and POLARIS with an increase of 7.74% and 7.24% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include KAILASH and FSL with a decrease of 9.90% and 4.98% along with SREI INFRASTRUCTURE FINANCE LTD. and BAJAJ ELECTRICALS LTD. with a decrease of 4.68% and 4.35% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 124.47 points at 18,400.40 while the banking sector is up 145.18 points at 19,894.58 and the reality sector is up 17.25 points at 1,657.44. Panaji, Oct 6 (ANI): Famed author Ira Trivedi launched her book "India in love - Marriage and Sexuality in 21st Century' recently at the International Writers and Readers' Festival 2014 in the beach state Goa. The three-day lit-fest, which began on October 04 will wrap up on October 06. While launching her book Trivedi said that it was a proud moment for her to have launched her book at the International Writers and Readers' Festival in the presence of so many dignitaries. Meanwhile one of the organizers if the event, Shweta Bajaj said events like these boost cultural exchange on a global platform. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 90.55 points down to stand at 7,911.85. AUROPHARMA and INFRATEL were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 8.90% and 4.94% along with TCS and BAJAJ HOLDINGS & INVESTMENT LTD with an increase of 3.08% and 2.88% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include JAIPRAKASH ASSOCIATES LTD and JPPOWER with a decrease of 18.52% and 13.92% along with JPINFRATEC & ALLAHABAD BANK with a decrease of 13.02% and 12.30% at the close of the markets.
