Chennai, Aug 03 (ANI): AIADMK on Sunday staged protest against Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse in Chennai city of Tamil Nadu. The protest came after the officials of Sri Lankan government defence ministry published an article ‘how meaningful are Jayalalithaa's love letters to Narendra Modi'. Protesters carried black flags, shouted slogans and stepped on Rajapakse's photograph, showing anger against the neighbouring nation. The agitated protesters said that state chief minister J Jayalalithaa has been doing a lot for the welfare of the fishermen in Tamil Nadu and such 'scandalous article' won't be accepted. Aug 3, 2014

The article headlined as 'how meaningful are Jayalalithaa's love letters to Narendra Modi' was published on the website, which drew ire of people from Tamil Nadu. Mumbai, Aug 02 (ANI): Shiv Sena Leader Sanjay Raut on Saturday gave clarifications over the "Saamna" article which it supported rape accused DIG Sunil Paraskar. Shiv Sena mouthpiece "Saamna" known for blunt comments came out in support Paraskar saying that the allegations against him are motivated. It also said that accusing men of rape is a trend. Speaking to mediapersons in Mumbai, Raut said that Shiv Sena never supports people who don't respect women.
