He said that it will meet the country's military requirements, will bring new scientific knowledge and technologies and that there will be spin of civil industries. Postal stamps on Narendra Modi issued in Bihar

Patna, May 29 (ANI): Department of Posts issued special stamps on Prime Minister Narendra Modi made by a philatelist in Bihar. The stamps and a special cover conceptualised by philatelist Pradeep Jain depicted Modi in four different poses and the special cover showed him emerging from a lotus. Jain said that he got the idea of 'My Stamp' during the inauguration of Barack Obama as United States President. It was a global event and stamps were released in Washington. The stamps and the cover were released on Modi's swearing-in ceremony on May 26. Impressed by his work, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs contacted him to get few of the stamps to send them to the neighbouring countries. May 29, 2014

Rajnath Singh takes charge as Home Minister

New Delhi, May 29 (ANI): Rajnath Singh on Thursday took charge as the Home Minister of India.
