PM Modi attends 'Tilak' Ceremony of Mulayam Singh Yadav's Grand-Nephew

Saifai, Feb 21 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attended the pre-wedding ceremony or Tilak of Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew Tej Pratap Yadav in Saifai village. Tej Pratap is marrying Raj Lakshmi, the youngest daughter of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad. A staggering 100,000 invites have been sent out for the ceremony. Tej Pratap Singh Yadav is a Lok Sabha member from Mainpuri. Saifai village, some 25 km from Etawah, is buzzing with frantic activity for the ceremony. Delicacies like bedai, baati-chokha and halwa soaked in desi ghee would be served. According to reports, Amitabh Bachchan has also confirmed his presence. Etawah, Feb 19 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi may attend the Tilak ceremony of Samajwadi Party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav's grandnephew in Saifai, Uttar Pradesh. The SP chief's grandnephew Tej Pratap, who is an MP from Mainpuri, is getting married to Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav's youngest daughter Raj Lakshmi. The ceremony is scheduled to be held on February 21. Manipur, Feb 14 (ANI): A week-long 22nd Senior School Cadet Kick Boxing Championship was recently held at the Sekta Community Hall Commando Complex at Sekta Mayai Leikai in Manipur. Over 250 players, including boys and girls from different districts took part in the event. The tournament was organized by the Kick Boxing Training School, Sekta, under the aegis of the Kick Boxing Association of Manipur. The 12th edition of the Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR) Cup State Equestrian Championships and the 6th IGAR (South) Junior Equestrian Championships was also held at the Polo Ground in Imphal.
