Border Guard Bangladesh top official denies any militant camp inside country

Siliguri, June 26 (ANI): The Additional Director General, Region Commander, Rangpur, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) north- western zone Mohammed Latiful Haider has firmly said that not a single militant camp is based inside the country. He added that, Bangladesh does not allow any camps in their territory, because they understand these kind of things are harmful for cordial relations between India and Bangladesh. Haider said this during a meeting with Border Security Force (BSF) officers at Kadamtala BSF Frontier head-quarter near Siliguri under Darjeeling district of West Bengal. Meanwhile, Inspector General (IG), South Bengal Frontier Head-Quarter, India's Paramilitary, Border Security Force (BSF) Rajni Kant Mishra, said that both the forces agree to maintain the sanctity of International border and with mutual cooperation including infiltration. Militants blow up Revenue office building in Kashmir

Poonch, June 26 (ANI): Militants blew up an office of a senior revenue official in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir with a powerful explosion. Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Amit Kumar Gupta said that in the wee hours of morning there was a powerful blast on the office premises. Gadkari orders performance audit of border road organization

New Delhi, June 25 (ANI): India's Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari, has ordered performance audit of the Border Road Organization accusing it of working with a lackadaisical attitude and performing way below the benchmark. The minister addressed media persons in New Delhi and said he was dissatisfied by work of the Border Road Organization which is entrusted with the maintenance of roads that serve the border areas of India.
