Bangladesh students form human chain to protest Israeli attacks on Palestine

Dhaka, July 14 (ANI): Students in Bangladesh formed a human chain on Monday to protest Israel’s air strikes in Gaza, which killed at least 160 people and forced thousands to flee. Students along with members of Dhaka University took to streets and shouted slogans against Israeli attacks. On Sunday, the Israeli military warned the residents of the northern border town of Beit Lahiya to leave or risk their lives when, after nightfall, it planned to intensify air strikes against suspected Palestinian rocket launchers among civilian homes. Killings on border unacceptable: Former Bangladesh Foreign Minister

Agartala, July 13 (ANI): Former Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, Dipu Moni strongly said that deaths on the borders and use of lethal weapons by border guards are unacceptable. She added that the killings at the border are a very serious concern for Bangladesh and the country had taken this up with the Indian authorities very strongly. Moni added that the border killings fortunately have gone down but should go down to zero.
