The third season of CBS' action-drama series "Scorpion" is all set to premiere in October and several recent reports have stated that the series is going to get more exciting and interesting in the upcoming season, with some kind of battle about to be ensued.
After taking a break for five months, Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) and his team will return to the television screens this fall on Season 3. Besides showcasing the romantic relationship between several members of Team Scorpion, the third season will also feature a lot of action and suspense elements.
In an interview with TVLine, Nick Wootton and Nick Santora, the executive producers of the show, revealed that the upcoming season will emphasise on Toby's emotional side when Happy refused his marriage proposal.
Talking with Ecumenical Times, Wootton said, "It's our kicking-off point for the next season, for the emotional stories." He also stated that Happy's marriage and her husband will be key elements of the story in "Scorpion" Season 3.
Besides Toby and Happy's relationship, the story will also explore the development in Walter and Paige's (Katharine McPhee) partnership. As reported by Parent Herald, Wootton has said that there will be some "Waige" moments in Season 3 of "Scorpion."
"We can't promise that in the first episode of next season, they're going to be holding hands and running through a valley of golden flowers together. But at the same time, the Waige relationship will always be there," Wootton said.
Parent Herald has also reported that the title of "Scorpion" Season 3 premiere episode has been revealed as "Civil War." The episode hints at a possible battle that might take place in this season.
Season 3 will premiere with the two-hour episode on Oct. 9, Monday at 9 pm on CBS. However, on Oct. 10, the series will be moved to a new time-slot of 10 pm, as reported by Enstarz.
