Fitz is in a lot of trouble now that news of his affair with Olivia Pope has spread like wildfire. The media as well as the public are having a field day with the news, and Fitz finally came to the realisation that he could be impeached for his relationship with Olivia.
Season 5 episode 5 of "Scandal" is entitled "You Got Served" and it will see the President of the United States being informed that he will soon need a lawyer who could protect him from being impeached.
"I have done nothing wrong, and I certainly haven't committed any impeachable offences," Fitz says in a promo video for the upcoming episode.
"This isn't a normal trial, Mr. President. It's a political trial," Fitz is informed. "Congress is prosecutor, and judge, and jury. They decide what an impeachable offence is and they decide if you have committed one."
Meanwhile, Olivia is slowly losing it and last week's episode saw her getting a lot of online death as well as rape threats. But in the midst of all this drama, Olivia and Fitz found time to go on a date as well.
In the next episode, Olivia will finally realise that she is incapable of handling the latest scandal on her own, and she will turn to an unlikely source for help.
Will Olivia finally turn to Papa Pope for help? Viewers will finally get the answers in "You Got Served".
The synopsis reads:
Olivia knows she can't handle this latest storm on her own and calls for help from an unexpected source. Meanwhile, Mellie and Cyrus continue to pull strings from the sidelines and Jake is still occupied by a ghost from his past.
