"Scandal" has just one more episode to go before the big season 4 finale, but fans of the show will have to wait until next Thursday for "A Few Good Women," as there won't be a new episode on 30 April.
ABC has decided not to air a new episode of "Scandal" so as to make way for "Grey's Anatomy" two-hour special that will deal with Derek's funeral and burial. The "Grey's Anatomy" special is titled "She's Leaving Home" and it will see Meredith breaking the news of Derek's death to their colleagues.
A promo for the episode shows the doctors, which includes Derek's sister Amelia, devastated by the news. However, based on the synopsis the focus is going to be on the other doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Reportedly, April will make a shocking decision that Jackson cannot understand, and Bailey and Ben argue over their future.
The promo also shows Meredith packing her bags, and speculations are rife she will be heading to Switzerland to be with "her person" Cristina to cope with the loss of husband, Derek.
As for what's next in "Scandal," the upcoming episode will see Olivia Pope working together with Vice President Ross.
The official synopsis of the episode reads: "Vice President Ross continues to defy the Grant administration when she hires Olivia Pope to defend a woman in the Navy. Meanwhile, Quinn and Huck must do what they do best to get answers about B613 and Mellie's campaign for Senate continues to be a struggle."
Fans will also see more of Jake, who was believed to be dead a few episodes ago, in the next episode. But as the season comes to an end, rumours are rife that viewers will have to bid adieu to a fan-favourite character.
