A shooting on a police traffic patrol in Saudi Arabia left two Indians injured along with a police official, the kingdom's interior ministry said on Tuesday.
The shooting was reported in Saudi Arabia's Qatif area, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The Indians were passing by the area when they were caught in the gunfire.
Saudi Arabia has seen a surge in attacks on police and security forces in the kingdom.
In September, gunmen attacked a police post in Saudi Arabia's Al-Shamli region, killing two civilians and a policeman.
Earlier this year, two policemen were gunned down in Riyadh by an Isis supporter.
