Ram Gopal Varma's "Satya 2" bash saw some top celebrities and veteran actors in attendance, along with stars launched by the director himself.
The film, sequel to the underworld centric "Satya", has a fresh cast and deals with newer definitions of the underworld.
The theme party, announced by the filmmaker, saw Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpai, Kay Kay Menon, Madhur Bhandarkar, Makrand Despande, Sunidhi Cahuhan, Anu Malik and many others, along with the film's new cast Puneet Singh Ratan, Aradhana Gupta and Anaika Soti.
Bachchan Sr., who introduced "Satya 2", was all praise for the film and the filmmaker with whom he made the disastrous "Aag."
"A quick visit to a 'party' organised by Ram Gopal Verma, which has to be historic in concept because he never goes to one and never gives one... but he wanted me to be present for the introduction of his new film 'Satya 2'... and may I say it was most impressive... an entire new cast and an entire new thought on the story... all the young talent looked and were seen to be doing well... I wish them all success..." wrote Bachchan in his blog.
RGV, humbly dressed for the occasion, also spoke on the film and marked it different from any other underworld centric film. The "Rangeela" director claimed a newer definition of crime would emerge through the film.
However, RGV regular Urmila Matondkar was nowhere to be seen and so was his other proteges Antara Mali and Nisha Kothari.
