Sasikumar has finished the shooting of his forthcoming Tamil movie, Balle Vellaiya Thevaa, at a rapid pace. The filming has been completed in just 50 days.
"#Bvt Happy to announce that v r wrapping up my comedy flick #Balle Vellaiyatheva today. @ravindranathgur @onlynikil @editorpraveen," Sasikumar posted on Twitter, announcing the news of the completion of the shooting.
Normally, the shooting schedule of regular commercial films lasts for 90-120 days. Even small-budget comedy films take 60-70 days to be wrapped up. But the Balle Vellaiya Thevaa team had clear plans, which played a major role in the completion of the filming in 50 days.
The makers are now getting ready to start the post-production work and are keen to release the movie in December.
Balle Vellaiya Thevaa is the ninth production of Sasikumar. The movie is written and directed by Solai Prakash. Raju Sundaram is the choreographer, while Darbuka Siva of Kidaari fame is composing the music. Ravindranath Guru is the cinematographer and Praveen Anthony is the editor of the upcoming Tamil film.
The movie stars Tanya Ravichandran as the female lead, while Kovai Sarala, Sangili Murugan, and Leesha also play major roles.
Will Balle Vellaiya Thevaa give Sasikumar a much-needed hit?
Sasikumar's recent movies have not been big hits at the box office, as the audience was bored with his usual action-packed dramas set in rural backdrops. He is now looking for a image makeover with an out-and-out comedy entertainer.
