Sasikumar recently met Baahubali series creator SS Rajamouli and shared the news on Twitter. His post instantly triggered rumours in Telugu media whether he was part of the maverick filmmaker's upcoming movie which has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the leads.
Well, the Tamil media has a slightly different story to narrate. The buzz says the Naadodigal star is reportedly planning a historical movie in which Thalapathy Vijay plays the lead role. Sasikumar met SS Rajamouli to seek his advice on handling such a project which involves a lot of CGI and high budget.
"Had a nice meeting with @ssrajamouli thank u sir [sic]," Sasikumar tweeted.
As per the reports, Sasikumar had met Vijay a few years ago and discussed a few scripts. The historical subject was one among them. Thalapathy had advised the actor-filmmaker to do his homework well before starting the proposed project. This meeting is part of his preparation.
Vijay busy with Sarkar
Thalapathy Vijay is currently working on AR Murugadoss-directorial Sarkar, which is an action thriller. The shooting, which was halted for a day as a respect to M Karunanidhi who passed away on Tuesday, August 7, is going on in the US.
The actor will be joining hands with Atlee Kumar after Sarkar. The rumoured Sasikumar project is likely to begin only after the completion of Atlee's flick. Nonetheless, the official confirmation of both the projects is awaited.
