Pawan Kalyan's "Sardar Gabbar Singh," or "Sardaar Gabbar Singh," has taken the actor's fans by storm. The movie was released Friday, April 8, and it had special benefit shows at midnight in Andhra and Telangana. The film was also premiered in some foreign countries, including the U.S where it has opened well.
The fans of Pawan Kalyan have given a fantastic reception to "Sardar Gabbar Singh," which was screened at midnight in many centres in the Telugu-speaking states. The theatres screening "Sardar Gabbar Singh" in Andhra were decked up with cut-outs and posters of Pawan Kalyan. The huge crowd cheering for the Powerstar of the Telugu films was a common sight in the theatres that screened the flick.
The pictures and video posts of the fans online clearly show that they are having a frolicking time inside the theatres too. In fact, Pawan Kalyan's introductory scene and a few songs from "Sardar Gabbar Singh" have become a hit with the fans.
"Sardar Gabbar Singh" has been released in over 2,000 screens worldwide. It is an action-masala film, which has Kajal Aggarwal playing the female lead role. Sharad Kelkar, Brahmanandam, Tanikella Bharani, Ali, Rao Ramesh, Urvashi and many others are part of the cast. It is written by Pawan Kalyan himself and directed by KS Ravindra.
Devi Sri Prasad is the music director, Arthur A Wilson is the cinematographer and Gautham Raju is the editor of the film.
Meanwhile, "Sardar Gabbar Singh" has opened to mixed reviews. Nonetheless, the Telugu movie, which has also been released in Hindi with the same name, is set to register a record-breaking opening in Andhra and Telangana.
